菜鳥Joc Pederson今天(15日)9局下演出「撞牆式」美技接殺，沒收對手可能的再見安打，道奇最後在延長賽12局以4比2擊敗教士。

9局下2比2平手、教士2出局一二壘有人，Justin Upton擊出中外野深遠飛球，Pederson一路向後追完成接殺，但也直接衝撞全壘打牆。

Pederson在正規賽用手套拯救球隊，雙方鏖戰至第12局，Adrian Gonzalez滿壘時敲出2分打點安打，道奇最終以4比2苦勝教士。

賽後Pederson說：「我想盡辦法接到球，這對我們球隊產生很大的影響力，也讓比賽繼續進行下去，接著就有許多人挺身而出。」

道奇二壘手Howie Kendrick表示，「我看見他(Upton)一臉不可置信的樣子，就一直盯著Joc。你總是會記得這種時刻，他今年也曾經沒收過全壘打。」
